- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is a great place to stay. The campground puts you close to Deadwood and not a far drive from Rapid City. The food at the lodge is good and the staff are extremely nice. They keep the shower house exceptionally clean. There are also a lot of great trails that you can get to right from the campground. Make sure to check out Custer Peak, the view from the top is breathtaking. Not enough good things can be said about this place. We can't wait to go back next year.By Bryan Ingham, October 29, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Hot!! No air conditioning but we would have not complained except for the tour guide who was ridiculous. If he had been one tenth as funny as he thought he was, it would have almost been bearable. His political jokes were offensive!!!! - ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Oldest slots on the strip and staff is generally rude. If you don't want a drink while playing a machine you will be constantly harrased and made uncomfortable. There are definitely better choices in Deadwood for gambling.By Scott S, April 10, 2017
